How to finish my state tax returns. I didn't know they were incomplete until I sent in my information

If you have e-filed the federal tax return then the state return cannot be e-filed until the federal return has been accepted by the IRS.  The IRS will not be accepting any 2016 tax returns until January 23.  TurboTax will send you an email when the federal tax return has either been accepted or rejected by the IRS.

Im talking about my 2019 return.     I am unable to access my file to complete the state taxes.

I was informed to pay 44.00 dollars , which i did so by creditcard,  I'm still unable to access the file

Log completely out of all TurboTax accounts if you have more than one. 

You can use this link https://myturbotax.intuit.com/account-recovery/ to recover your account with your phone number. If that doesn't work there is a small blue link at the bottom that says Try something else and if you click on that you can locate your account by using your SSN, name, and birthdate.
