only the IRS can answer your question. even if you got through to an agent they would likely not be able to explain the delay or even give you an estimated date for you to receive your refund. there was an article in the Chicago Tribune just the other day that reported that due to the IRS's outdated computer system, Covid, staffing issues, programming issues, etc. there are millions of unprocessed returns. some processing centers are actually closed and paper returns.....
