How long should my return take and will I be penalized for filing late ?

if your due a refund there are no penalties for late filing.    how long to get refund assuming IRS finds no issues with return 3 to 4 weeks if efiled. 6-8 weeks after received by IRS if mailed.  this are just estimates.
