How long should it take before you get an adjusted refund from the IRS.? They sent it to turbo tax in may!

Not sure what you mean by an "adjusted refund."  If you amended your return by mailing a Form 1040X then the IRS mails a check to YOU.  

 

 

If you are referring to the refund from your original tax return:

 

Your tax refund was not sent to TurboTax.   TurboTax does not handle your refund at all.
