4 to 6 weeks after they have received the fax, and it can take anywhere between 7 to 14 days to put it on file after they received the fax.. then you should see your ddd 4 to 6weeks after. Some get it sooner so it all depends on if they have to change your refund..if it wasn’t even changes look for it 3 weeks after fax

This happened to me.. I did it here on turbo tax and didn’t even get a option to put this form in... but I seen a lot of people get there’s 2 to 3 weeks after they received the fax so give them 2 weeks to get fax then 3 weeks to give you a date... hopefully u don’t owe them it will take a little longer

Any updates for y’all? I filed 2/6, never got a letter, called 3/4 and they told me to fax I the 1095A and 8962. They won’t tell me if they got the fax but the man I talked to at the IRS said to expect 8 weeks before I see any updates. Im praying it doesn’t take that long since we’ve already been waiting over a month. I can guarantee if I owed money they wouldn’t want me to wait 8 weeks to pay.

@hynesty30 do you mind if I asked if your refund changed after you sent the forms? I know we will be getting a little more back so I’m wondering if that will slow us down.

No my refund stayed the same. I think if they have to change the amount you have to wait a little longer... but hey at least you get more back

I faxed my forms in on March 4th. I called and was told that on March 14th the review had been completed and sent to processing... I'm still waiting on a DDD... They keep telling me when I call that it can take 8 weeks. Some people I know who had to do the same thing never got a date they just go their DD. Has anyone else faxed their forms back this same day and heard anything yet? If so what have you heard different if anything from what I've heard or got (which is still no DDD and no DD)?

I faxed mine over on 3/8. I’ve called twice and they both told me they don’t know anything except it takes 6-8 weeks from the time I faxed it. My WMR still says “still processing” and that’s it. My refund should be about $500 more that it was before the 1095A so maybe it will take mine longer. Plus I had EIC so I know that takes longer too. I’m frustrated as heck! Need my money!

IRS sent my documents to the wrong department after I waited 3 weeks. Now a representative tells me he’s faxing it to the right department and that my 8 weeks may start all over. I really feel like I shouldn’t have to start over for a mistake that made. I also owe $188 so ain’t no telling how long it’s resll gong to take.

I need some help. I was requested to send my 8962 and 1095A form. I did this about 3 weeks ago and still nothing has updated on the IRS website! It says still processing. Im frustrated because i cant call due to this virus there is no live assistance. How long does it usually take for it to process after i submit the fax to the IRS? Its been 3 weeks and still nothing.

It depends.

The IRS operations are limited during the Covid-19 pandemic and phone agents are not available at the moment.  Attached is a link with more information as to what departments are available to contact at the moment.

IRS operations

Once the social distancing rules are removed, the IRS agents will be back to process the forms.
