How long does it take to receive a paper check of your refund, if your bank account info was wrong?

I was suppose to receive my refund on March 2nd. On March 3rd I double checked my routing and account number and found my account number had 2 numbers switched. My bank says if anything is wrong they reject it and send it back to the IRS. IRS is impossible to get ahold of someone. I just want to know when this check will be sent.

Expect that mistake to delay your check by three weeks or longer--no one can give you an exact time.   The check will be sent by first class mail without tracking so watch your mailbox.
