We faxed the 8962 on 2/3. And found out after calling 2/18 that it was scanned to system on 2/10. But still no change to WMR. The irs says wait 6 weeks. I hope that's not the case. Being its a efile and corrections have been scanned in.

I hope that's not the case either. I'm still waiting for the letter.

rickeyhughs85 - Any new updates on your end?  I am in the same boat! I just faxed my info in on Monday. I called today....(ahem..consider me impatient)..and was told that there was "input" noted on my account. But that it usually takes 10 days to process those new papers and another 4 weeks to receive the return. I'm assuming they just say that so that people will wait patiently as I've seen a few people say they have gotten DDD for 2 weeks after their faxed info was received.

When I called the irs Tueday I found out that I'm going to be getting this same type of letter. I'm still waiting on the letter but she did tell me it's about 2 weeks after they receive it. Hopefuly you either have your money already or will very soon.

I called IRS and was informed that I needed to fax my 1095-a but I hadn't received the letter I was informed that I can make my own cover sheet and she gave me the facts information and where and how to fax it has anyone else fax their form with just a cover sheet and without the letter

I’m worried now, I had called the IRS and was told I can fax my forms (1040, 1095a & 8962) without a cover sheet. I faxed it earlier today without a cover sheet. Will I still be okay?

The letter they send gives you the directions on how to fax the forms ... it can be used as the cover letter (fill in page 2) or any other cover letter will work.   Patience will be needed as they catch up on the months of work that piled up due to the covid shutdown.

Unfortunately I didn’t receive a letter as during the time there was no one working so the letter was made but never sent out. I called because I was wondering what the delay was, it was then the worker had stated I didn’t need a cover page but I’m sure I’ll be fine

If what you sent in ( 1095-A & 8962) has your name and SS# on it you should be fine ... it will eventually catch up to your return in processing.
