How long after you get your email from turbo tax saying that your refund is on the way does it post to your account

Yes, disregard the email as it was from marketing and they do not have any idea when your tax refund will be approved and sent. 

We are complaining to the TurboTax Moderators of the forum about these types of emails.

 

If accepted by the IRS use the federal tax refund website to check the refund status - https://www.irs.gov/refunds

Sorry to tell you this---that was a marketing email that should be ignored.   Use only the IRS refund site for reliable information.

 

 

Once your federal return has been accepted by the IRS, only the IRS has any control.  TurboTax does not receive any updates from the IRS. Your ONLY source of information about your refund now is the IRS.

 

You need your filing status, your Social Security number and the exact amount  (line 35a of your 2024 Form 1040) of your federal refund to track your Federal refund:
