How is my girlfriend who filed her taxes a week after me is getting her refund before me?

We both used turbo tax but I filed a week before her and her refund is approved and going to be deposited February 5th, how is it that mine has not been approved for payment??

IRS doesn't use the "first in, first out" method with refunds.  Each return is processed based on its own unique information.

The IRS does not file on a first come, first serve basis.
You can check the status of your refund via Where's My Refund? According to the IRS, more than 9 out of 10 refunds are processed in 21 days or less. Also, see 2016 Tax Season Refund Frequently Asked Questions.
