How I do I change the IRS location/address I entered in the 1120X form?

I accidentally selected the wrong IRS location when I opened my prior year's return to amend it.   How can I correct it?

If you mailed your amended return to the wrong IRS office address, it will be forwarded to the correct address.

I am planning to submit electronically.  My concern is that if it have the incorrect IRS location selected, it will be transmitted to the wrong location.

You don't have anything to worry about, then, as far as the address.

Although paper 1120-S returns need to be sent to certain location-specific IRS campuses, the same is not true for e-filed returns.  Electronic filing is centralized, without a campus destination.
