how does turbo tax get it wrong. I filed jointly with my spouse and they won’t file by new return until i give them a number for my wifes AG i

she has no seperate AGI It is combined with mine to make a joint AGI. Only one 1040

On a Joint return there is only 1 AGI number.  Use the same number for each of you.   So enter the same AGI for her.

If you filed your 2023 federal tax return as Married Filing Jointly, then the Form 1040 Line 11 AGI for 2023 is the same for the both of you.
