How do I save my tax return as a .tax file on my downloaded version (MacBook)?

I have a Mac also.

Whenever you go to File in the upper left and click Save, it is saved as a .tax file. and the only program that can read it is TurboTax program.

If I click on File and go 4 below the save, then I can save it as a pdf and can open it without TurboTax.
