There is no reason to override if the 1099-R is correct and should go on either line 15 (IRA) or 16 (Other than IRA).
What code is in box 7 on the 1099-R?
Is there anything in box 2a?
Is the IRA/SEP/SIMPLE box near box 7 checked?

Go back to the Forms mode and open the Form 1040. Highlight the field with the Override. Right click on the field and in the pop-up window click on Cancel Override.
How do I restore field on override turbo tax. There is no "Undo Override", nor does TT give me a message saying the field has been over-written, but it appears to have been. Here's the error that arrives 15 minutes AFTER the e-file was successfully submitted and TT Final Analysis shows no errors:

TurboTax will not let you e-File if there is any override present.
No I don't know how to fix the error message you got.
I am having the same issue, I can't undo the override. I will call turbo tax help.

What happens when you go to Forms and click on the field that you Overrode? Do you get a pop-up with Cancel Override listed?
