How do I reprint the TurboTax summary page? I printed my taxes after I filed. I'm looking for the page that usually shows at the beginning that summarizes everything.

When I print my taxes, only the forms show. I can't seem to get the summary page. I like to have this overview page for my records. I've attached the summary from last year's returns, as an example.

They stopped including that with the tax file after you efile. But you can still get it going to tax timeline and say you are going to add a new state.  Don't actually add a state but that puts you back into the process to get the summary page.

Awesome! This is exactly what I was looking for. I never would've figured this out. Thanks!

Still not working.  Please provide step by step instructions until "the summary sheet appears on the screen", rather than just ending at "puts you back into the process".

Also, please include the summary sheet in the final print out pdf version just like before.  It's a very informative sheet.  Thanks!

Regarding the missing 2020 Federal Tax Return Summary Page upon initial printout.

Followed your advice and it was a complete success.

Thanks so much.

Thanks for that direction.  Silly that Intuit does not have that summary in your list of numerous available docs after you file.

After a return has been  efiled and accepted, it can sometimes take the  return PDF a while to update and become available at the Tax Home landing screen.   If you can't use the Download/print button at the Tax Home or the "Download/print the PDF" link in the section "Your Tax Returns & Documents", OR  if you're getting incomplete documents when you use one of those methods, here's an alternate way to print by opening the filed return back up to print at the Print Center.

NOTE:  When you open your return back up, do not make any changes in it if it's already been filed.  If you later have to amend the return, it has to start off exactly as it was when it was originally filed.

  • Log in and at the Tax Home or in the section "Your Tax Returns & Documents" for 2020, look for a link "Add a State."
  • Click on "Add a State."  (you don't really add one.  That's just to open your return back up.)
  • After the return is open, click in the left menu column on TAX TOOLS, then PRINT CENTER.
  • Then choose "Print, save, view this year's return."
  • The next screen should offer some options:  "Just my tax returns", or "include government worksheets (optional)", or "include government and TurboTax worksheets (optional.)"
  • See if one of those PDFs has what you need.  The latter has the most pages.

NOTE:  Remember all PDF tax documents and tax data files are very sensitive files, since they contain your personal ID info, financial data, and possibly bank account numbers, etc.  Be sure to store them safely and securely to guard against computer theft, hacking, etc.

No, that not true.

Please don't answer so confidently without having enough experience.

Why the turbo tax did not create summary page on one tax return? it is a error in the program.

I always get the summary page but this time i did not. I think it depends on refund amount. If the refund amount is large, there will be no summary page in the in the front.
