How do I record Series EE bond Interest an an annual basis in Turbo Tax?

We have been recording the annual interest earned every year on our taxes, via a tax accountant. I am unable to locate a 1099-int form since these bonds have not reach maturity and have not been cashed in.

You can leave that blank.  Type any description like Savings Bond Accrued Interest

Federal Taxes tab

Wages & Income

Interest and Dividends

Interest on 1099INT - Click the Start or Update button

then don't import it.  Scroll down and pick I'll enter it myself.

Savings Bond interest goes in box 3.

Hi Volvo Girl,

That is where i have it, however in the review process I am getting an error message stating that the Payer TIN cannot be the same as the SSN.

Unfortunately I do not have a 1009-int since the bonds have not been cashed in.

Any suggestions?

Thank you !
