How do I know that my 2016 returns have been filed ?

You can check to see if you e-filed by signing back into the TurboTax account that you prepared your taxes in. Your e-file status should be the first thing you see.

If you don't have access to your TurboTax return, you can also click here to check your status online.

NOTE: If the program prompted you to mail your return, you will need to print it out and mail it. You can go here https://ttlc.intuit.com/questions/1944348 for instructions on how to print and mail.
