How do I input my w-2 from previous year to compare with this year?

I'm filing my 2024 taxes. But when I looked at the breakdown it isn't comparing my w-2 from 2023. This is the first time I'm personally using turbo tax and wondering if, because it's not comparing both years, if I'd get more back if I can input my info from 2023?

No adding your 2023 W2 won't change your 2024 tax return.  Most things from the prior year won't affect the current  year unless you have an investment Carryover Loss.   You will need your 2023 AGI to verify you when you efile 2024.

You need your 2023 AGI to efile 2024. The AGI is on 2023 1040 or 1040SR line 11. If you filed a Joint return you use the same AGI for each spouse.

If you didn't file 2023 or filed it later in the year or mailed it, then try entering 0 for the AGI. If that doesn't work you will have to print and mail your return.

Or request a transcript from the IRS
