How do I get my 15 digit tracking number for direct deposit from IRS? IRS said it was direct deposited oa

My bank doesn't have deposit and requested tracking number.

The IRS does not give you a tracking number for a tax refund.   Someone at the bank may have the mistaken idea that the IRS uses tracking for refunds--they do not.

Had refund direct deposited on my Walmart Moneycard.  IRS said that my money was deposited but the next day it didn't show up. I called Walmart Moneycard and they said that I needed the 15 digit tracing number. Called IRS and they said they do not have that. Looked online and found people saying that when you have the fees taken out of your refund by Turbotax, your refund goes to Turbotax first and then Turbotax deposits your money into your account. Therefore, Turbotax would be the one to issue the EFTPS 15 digit tracing number.

@rmacleod1991 Your tax refund was not sent to TurboTax.   TurboTax does not handle your refund at all.

Santa Barbara Tax Products Group, LLC  (SBTPG) is the bank that handles the Refund Processing Service when you choose to have your TurboTax fees deducted from your refund. This option also has an additional charge from the bank that processes the transaction.

You can contact them SBTPG, toll-free, at 1-877-908-7228 or go to their secure website www.sbtpg.com

Go to IRS.gov create/login to your account, click on “Get your tax records”, you’ll see a list of all your refunds, click on 2022 either 4 options, and the tracking number is in the right corner!
