How do I get a w-2 from my former employer when I was directed (via email) to access it via turbotax?

I was directed by my former employer to obtain a copy of my w-2 from turbo tax, but I can't do that as turbotax requires I enter my final wages to obtain it. I'm at a loss. Can anyone help?

TurboTax cannot access a W-2.  You must obtain the 2023 W-2 from the employer, either a hard copy or from a website designated by the employer's payroll provider.
