If you are referring to your Michigan tax return, Total Household Resources (THR) are the total income (taxable and nontaxable) of both spouses or of a single person maintaining a household.
As you walk through the TurboTax interview questions to prepare your Michigan return, you will come to a page that says Total Household Resources. Click Continue, answer the questions in this section and TurboTax will determine your eligibility for the Michigan's Homestead Property Tax and Home Heating Credits.
