How do i find my schools w-2s

How do i put my schools university w-2 in?

Schools do not send a W-2 unless you are an employee of the school. 

 

Are you asking about a 1098T for tuition you paid?   If they did not mail one to you then try going to the school's web site.

To clarify, are you asking about a W-2 or 1098T. 1098T shows the tuition you paid during the year while W-2 will show the wages you earned while working at the university. If it is the W-2 then please follow the steps below to enter your W-2:

  1. Click on Tax Home from the left side menu
  2. On the main screen, click on Wages & Income. 
  3. Scroll down till you see the section for "Wages & Salaries". Click on that. Then press the start/revisit option.
  4. You should now see an option for "Add another W-2" if you have already entered another one earlier or you should see "Let's get your W-2 Info". You will select "Work on my W-2"
  5. Then enter the information as directed.
