How do i correct an incorrect digit entered in my social security number after irs accepted my return ?

I entered an incorrect digit in my social security number irs accepted and my refund is said to be deposited in my account but my go2bank has no knowledge of my direct deposit

If the IRS accepted your return, there really isn't anything you should do now. Wait and see if the IRS processes your refund.

 

Check Where's My Refund? to see if you can get a status using your correct SSN - if you can, and the information is correct, then you don't have a problem.

 

If you don't receive a refund (and they are very slow this year), you may have to amend your return to correct the SSN. You'd have to file the  amended return by mail and  include a very brief letter explaining what you changed.
