I owe for federal and state (VA). Right before I filed, I opted to pay via bank account, and I entered my banking information into TurboTax. I just printed my tax forms and this information is not listed under "Amount You Owe" for both. I expected to receive some kind of email notification from TurboTax confirming my scheduled payments but haven't gotten anything. I scheduled my payments for April 1st, so maybe it'll come later? How do I check that these payments are in fact scheduled? I have online accounts with the IRS and my state--would that information have been transferred there? Thanks
If you want to check the debit date you specified, look on the filing instructions for your return. It will tell you the debit date the IRS or State will deduct the payment. If you did not print them out you can view them using the following steps:
