How do I change refund bank account information?

I will never use Turbo Tax again!!!   I have spent over an hour trying to change the bank account information for my refunds.  I originally typed in the wrong number, and now TT allows me to change the bank information for my federal refund, but it will not allow me to change the bank account information for my state refund.  If I continue on and file, my state refund will go to a bad bank account number.  THIS IS NOT GOOD! TURBO TAX IS NOT GOOD!  Can anyone help with this?

From this user community, it seems as if this is a TT problem, as many others have encountered the same or similar issues.  This should be a no brainer, yet TT cannot get this correct???!!!!!  I will never use Turbo Tax again.

If you haven't filed your return, follow the steps below

  • From your Tax TurboTax Online Home screen Locate Review and File. Click on Finish and File
  • You will see the last 3 steps of your return. Click and revisit Step 2 Your refund info

If you have already filed your return and it has been accepted by the IRS for processing you won’t be able to change it. You need to contact the IRS to try to expedite this process. They will put a hold on the direct deposit and issue a paper check instead.

What if I entered the wrong bank account for direct deposit?
