How do I change my option for my refund so I don't have to pay the fee?

If you have NOT already filed, you can change your option by doing the following:

Log in to your online account; click on Take Me to My Return if it doesn't come up automatically
Click on the File tab at the end and then click on Start (or Revisit) next to Step 1.
Click on View Payment Options at the bottom
Here you'll be able to click Pay by Card and avoid the extra fee
