If you have already filed your tax return, you cannot make any changes as to how your refund will be paid. The IRS rules state that taxpayers cannot rescind a Direct Deposit election and they cannot make changes to routing transit numbers of financial institutions or to their account numbers after the IRS has accepted the return. Refunds that are not direct deposited because of institutional refusal, erroneous account or routing transit numbers, closed accounts, bank mergers or any other reason are issued as paper checks, resulting in refund delays of up to ten weeks.
My tax return got efiled but I still need to make a change to get my refund, the bank account information I used I still need to change to put the routing number before the 3digit savings number ( in which I forgot to do ) I didn't know that before, with that said do I contact the IRS or do I go through Turbotax? Or do I just wait for a paper check?
Unless your e-filed return is rejected there is nothing you can do to change your bank account information. If the refund is refused by the bank, it will be sent back to the IRS and they will issue a paper check.

Bank information for a direct deposit or a direct debit can only be entered before the tax return has been filed.
If the return has not been filed you can change the bank information in the File section of the TurboTax program on Step 2 using the online editions.
