How do I amend my 2018 return? I tried following the instructions but they don't jive with what is online

To amend 2018 return:

  1. Log in to your account.
  2. Go to Tax Home.
  3. Scroll down to Your Tax Returns and Documents.
  4. Select 2018.
  5. Select  "Amend (Change) 2018 return" and follow the directions.
