How come my bank isn't seeing the money? Wasn't it direct deposit?

Once the IRS approves your return you will typically receive your refund within 21 days.https://www.irs.gov/refunds/what-to-expect-for-refunds-this-year
The exception would be if you are claiming the EITC/ACTC you will not receive a refund until late February. https://www.irs.gov/individuals/refund-timing
