How can I stop filling out the form and return to it later?

You can come and go.   In Online TurboTax your info should automatically be saved after each page.  To exit, go to the left menu column, and scroll way down near the bottom of that menu column and click on SIGN OUT.

When you return, sign in with the same User ID.
