Some parts of the site are OK. But other parts use a very thin sans-serif font (e.g., I'm on the "you need to file FBAR" page)
The fonts break usability guidelines, and probably break ADA (for people with diminished eyesight).
There is no way to change the font within Turbo Tax.
The only option is to make the font bigger within your browser by zooming in.
WHY??? I CAN'T MAKE THE FONT LARGER, THAT'S THE DUMBEST THING I HAVE EVER HEARD??!!!
Hire some real programmers.
Browser font size if a function of the browser. Most browsers have options to change the size or have add-ons that will do it. Many computers also have screen resolution settings to change the size. (Personally I like "zoom" with FireFox to change the font to any size I want.)
I'm not asking about changing font *size* -- I'm asking about changing the font *thickness*. The fashionably thin style that TurboTax uses is hard to read -- and I have a 32" 4K monitor.
Yes, I could mess around with custom CSS to fix this, but there is simply no reason for TurboTax to use such a font -- it obviously fails accessibility guidelines.
I'm not using the web version, I'm using the app from a CD.
Yes, the PC version is in general a superior experience, and also handles some things that the online version can't (e.g., the dreaded form 1116, which is very bad with the PC version but impossible online).
