How can I get a MEF from turbo tax once it’s been more than 21 days since I filed my tax return and the IRS can’t find it when I filled out my details to track it?

@vhs181295 - if you efiled and have the 'accept' email the IRS has it.  if you paper filed, it'll be 6-9 months until the IRS processes it due to their backlogs.   Further, if you have anything on Lines 28 or 30 of Form 1040, that is going to go through an additional review, so it will take longer.

Sometimes people get confused by the “summary” given by TurboTax and use the wrong amount for the federal refund.  Make sure you are only using the federal refund amount, and not an amount that combined your federal and state refunds.
