How can I get a copy of a previous year return that is actually Signed? I don't know why they are delivered to us Unsigned when we eSigned them for the IRS.

Why are previous year's Returns provided to us "Unsigned"?

There is no physical signature on a return that was e-filed.  When you e-file you "sign" electronically by entering your AGI or PIN.  If someone like a lender wants a signed copy, then you take out a pen and sign it on the line that says "Sign here."

If you download a new PDF file of your last year's tax return (or any prior year e-filed)...it does contain an Electronic Postmark sheet showing the exact Date and Time of day that your e-file was accpted.
