How can I fix the incorrect 1099-int amount that Turbotax is showing? I add $72 and the form shows $617. I have deleted and re-entered the form. I believe this is a bug.

I saw a fix for this problem posted by another user, but it is not working for me.

If you delete the 1099 INT what does it show?  Did you get any 1099Div?

Are you using the Online version?  Look through the input areas like for interest and dividends for the difference.  Look at all your actual 1099 tax forms for the difference.

Where is it showing 617?  On your 1040 line 2b?  Interest can also come from other places like if you imported any 1099 or entered a K-1.

Yes, that is where it appears. I'm not sure where else it would have come from. I have no K-1 data and I don't see errors in my other entries.

Thanks for helping!

I did just find it in some installment sales interest entry. I thought I'd looked through everything.

Never mind! Thanks again.
