How can I find older tax returns over 10 years old? I don't remember if I claimed Hope or American Opportunity credits & I can't get the tax returns online anymore

I went back to school last year after over 10 years. My TurboTax's online are no longer available to view because they're so old so how do I know if I claimed certain education credits or not because I don't remember

TurboTax and the IRS save returns for seven years.   After seven years they are gone.   If you could be claimed as a dependent on a parents' return over ten years ago, check with your parents to see if they got the credit on their return.  You can get the AOTC for a total of four times during undergrad college--including the times it may have been used by your parents who claimed you.
