Yes, you can e-file your 2023 federal amended return if the original return was successfully e-filed using TurboTax.

 

Here's how to do that in TurboTax:

 

 

1. Complete your amended tax return in the same account that you filed the original return.
2. Select Review and fix any details there.
3. Continue in to the File section. 
4. Follow the on screen directions to sign and e-file your tax return. 

 

 

If you're amending for tax years 2022 and earlier, you need to print and mail your amended return.
