This information is printed right on your return. To find this information please log into your account and select download/print return and a pdf copy will open up on your computer and you can review/print your forms for the information. (For example. Form 1040 the information regarding your refund is on lines 75-77 and direct deposit is on line 76. a-d).

If you already e-filed, and your bank account information is incorrect then unfortunately you will have to wait to see if you return is accepted or reject. If rejected, you can follow the steps above and update the information. If your return is accepted, you would not be able to change the information. Once accepted if the IRS is unable to deposit the refund into the bank account provided you would then receive a paper check in the mail. If your return is accepted, you may be able to try calling the IRS e-file payment services at 1-888-353-4537 for assistance in updating the banking information.
