How can I change my direct deposit account number

I’ve had the same direct deposit account for three years now I have a new account and the app is not letting me change or add my new one The one the system has is closed now

You have to go to Step 2 in the FILE section.

You cannot  change banking information while your return is in pending, nor can you change it after the return is accepted.  The IRS does not allow it.
