If you received a Schedule K-1 form 1041 from the trust, you'll have to amend your tax return to report it.

As you have already filed, please wait to see if your return is accepted or rejected. If rejected, you may correct and resubmit. If it is accepted, you need to file an amended return.

If you are expecting a refund, we recommend that you wait to amend until after the IRS has processed your original return and you have received your refund.
