Hi my federal return status says ready to mail, I mailed my state and federal about 8 weeks ago and I’m wondering what Actions I can take to complete my return

I have waited beyond the suggested time frame it usually takes to process a federal refund.

When you mailed them did you mail them in separate envelopes? Federal and state go to different places. Did you get tracking numbers from the post office so you know they got them?

Here's how to check the Status of your Federal Refund:

Your State probably has a similar link to check your State Refund.

Here's how to go to your State's tax site:

She posted the federal lookup link. 4 weeks after you print and mail it, you can start checking IRS Where's my refund https://www.irs.gov/refunds/
Make sure you are using the refund amount from your actual federal tax return and not the combined amount Turbo Tax showed you at the end. That was for federal and state combined.

Turbo Tax will always say Ready to Mail. They don't know if or when you actually printed and mailed it. And the IRS doesn't update Turbo Tax when they get a mailed return. Did you get a tracking number from the post office?

What does the IRS say? IRS Where's my refund https://www.irs.gov/refunds/

Did you get your state refund? Did you mail them in separate envelopes? Some people were mailing both in the same envelope to the state.
