Hi i received a form 1099 after i already filed. I recieved it because i was audited last year and ended up getting about 300 dollars in interest. Will this delay my $$$$

I know ill need to do an ammended return at some point but i really want to know if this is going to delay my return??

No, this won't delay the refund on your original return. 

 

After you receive your refund, you need to amend your return and add the interest income. 

 

Because this is more income, you may need to pay back a part of your refund. Just do the amendment after February 15 and pay back any tax due by April 15 and you will be fine.
