Haven't received my stimulus.got a letter from irs I have to verify identity call the number and they are closed.Do I have to verify my identity before stimulus payment

That letter may be FRAUD!!!  that is the first I've seen anyone post they got a letter from the IRS to verify identify.  

look very closely at that letter..... return address... where was it stamped? 

google the phone number......
