When adding a child born in 2020 as a dependent in the My Info section you Must select that they lived with you for the Whole Year. You Must indicate that they did NOT provide over one-half of their own support. You do NOT check the box for Not valid for employment when entering their Social Security number.
If the dependent is entered correctly they will be eligible for Recovery Rebate Credit on your 2020 federal tax return when completing the stimulus payment questions in Federal Review.
