I filed for my refuting the 19th of February and I only received a little more than half it was approved I called I have no offsets and turbo tax won’t give me no answer do anyone know if I will be able to get the rest of my money
TurboTax does not get any information from the IRS after you file your tax return, so no one at TT knows why your refund was less.
You have not mentioned any specific amounts. Sometimes we can make an educated guess as to the reason for your reduced refund if you mention specific amounts--for example if your refund was short by $1400---it is likely to be a mix up regarding the 3rd EIP payment. If it is short by $1800 or $1500 or a multiple of that amount --- maybe a mixup regarding the advance child tax credit payments. Or---the fees you were supposed to pay for using TurboTax + the "refund processing fee" charged by the third party bank….
Did you choose to have TT fees deducted from your Federal refund? (Remember that if you did that, you also agreed to an extra refund processing fee of $39.99 or $44.99 in CA)

What is Refund Processing Service?
The IRS will send you a letter that explains why your refund was reduced. Meanwhile it might help you to check your online IRS account.

I didn’t receive any Stimulus a child text credit like I was supposed to I follow every year no issue. It’s more than half missing I shouldn’t have to tell you how much I’m getting for you to understand that there’s no reason for there to be half missing I picked the free option as I always do with the same bank account as always
I have no offsets I called they told me to check with turbo tax
@Shamyacorbin You were not asked to tell us any specific amounts. My reply just pointed out that there are some possible explanations besides "offsets" for your refund to be reduced. Offsets happen when you owe back taxes or child support. Some refund reductions happen for other reasons and you were given some of the possible reasons. Wait for the letter you will receive from the IRS.
