Green card holders - 1st year

My wife, our two kids and I are green card holders. We entered the US in the middle of July 2023. We haven't been in the US before nor had a US related income.

Are we considered Dual-status aliens for 2023 tax year?

What kind of tax return do we have to file?

If a Dual-status applies for us and we file our 1040 jointly, will we be taxed for our foreign income that we received before our arrival if it's not related to the US?

If we are not considered Dual status aliens, can we just file jointly without being afraid our income received before we became permanent residents will be taxed?

Yes, since you became Green Card holders in 2023, you are considered a resident alien for the entire year and may file a 1040 resident return. You may file jointly.
