Got rebate check reimbursement for union dues paid 2015 and 2016

How will do I file this $1008.00 payment from my union? It's a rebate check for reimbursement for union dues over payment for years 2015 and 2016?

You do not need to report a reimbursement as income, unless you had previously deducted the union dues.
