Forms to file with 1040-X

Lots of folks on TurboTax say you only need to file forms that are changing from original 1040 when filing an amended return on 1040-X.  However, this is in the IRS FAQs for 1040-X:  "An amended Form 1040, 1040-SR and 1040-NR return requires submission of all necessary forms and schedules as if it were the original submission, even if some forms have no adjustments. This is in addition to an attached Form 1040-X."

So, which is correct?  Do I need to refile everything or only forms that are changing?

You only need to attach to your amended return schedules and supporting statements that support changes made on your return.
