Forgot to date my return. I signed it but not date it? Will that change anything?

No you should be fine, as long as you signed the tax return you will be ok and the date won't change anything.

Will I get an email to confirm that my letter was received?

The date you entered will not affect the processing of the return.  The system captures the date submitted also.

To check your e-file status, sign in to TurboTax, and go to Tax Home (if you're not already there). If you've submitted your return, you'll see a pending, rejected, or accepted status. If you haven't submitted your return yet, you'll see Let's keep working on your taxes! and sections like Personal Info and Income & Expenses.

Your e-file status is different from your refund status. If you want to track your refund, go to Where's My Refund.

How do I check my e-file status using TurboTax Desktop?

Really appreciate it took all my stress off! I don't care if it takes that much eventually it has to arrive 🙂
