Filled in 2018 and it says I received a refund but never got it

I filled taxes in in 2018 and owe the IRS it said I will get a refund of 776 on TurboTax but never received anything so where did the money go

If you owed the IRS money chances are they will deduct it from your tax refund. They will always send you a notice in writing. Please refer to the following FAQ.

I've never received any correspondence from them saying that it was deducted from what I owe
