filed my Tax Return but my wife's ITIN request was send to IRS, should I wait for it or should I send my federal and state return without her number?

here's the thing I used TurboTax to filed out my tax return, unfortunately, I don't have my wife's ITIN number so I send the request for her number to the IRS in Austin (my tax return plus the W-7 form), the million-dollar question, should I wait until I get my wife's number to send my Federal and State return or Can I send my both tx returns without her ITIN number on it? thanks.

It would be best to wait for the number. If you file without the number, the return may be rejected or the tax on it adjusted. You can file for a six month extension of time to file the tax returns if you do not have the identification number by the due date of the tax return.
