Filed and got accepted 1/14, but apparently the IRS told me it was actually accepted on 1/27?

Why say it was accepted than? I called cause it was nearing my 21 days and they said even tho it said accepted 1/14, it wasn’t officially accepted on Monday.  So now I have to wait three weeks all over again

The IRS did not begin to accept returns until January 27, 2020. See this information regarding When the IRS began accepting returns. Here is the IRS website where you can Track Your Refund!
